prevails. Further, if two players have three of kind, the
player with the highest ranked three of kind wins. In the
event of a tie, the pot is split.
Can I play Texas Hold'em online?
Absolutely. There are many online
casinos that offer Texas Hold'em as one of their table games.
In fact, many online casinos specialize in Texas Hold'em,
and host Texas Hold'em tournaments exclusively. The 2003 World
Series of Poker winner, Chris Moneymaker, won his spot at
the final table by entering an online casino (PokerStars.com)
and paying a small entrance fee. Chris's $40 initial investment
online netted him over $2.5 million dollars after winning
the entire tournament.
When I play Texas Hold'em online, who
am I playing against?
There's no real answer to this one.
However, rarely will you playing against a computer. Most
online casinos that have Texas Hold'em create a multi-player
environment, where you're playing against other players in
different parts of the world. |
