Red Dog Strategy

In the game of Red Dog, you place a bet, receive two cards, decide whether or not to raise, and then receive a third card. Therefore, the only decision you have to make is whether or not to raise your bet.

The optimal strategy in Red Dog is that you should only raise your bet if your hand has a spread of seven or more (the spread being the number of ranks between two given cards - see our Red Dog Rules section).

Red Dog is a game of luck, but you can increase your odds of winning if you follow this strategy.
