Practice playing craps for free online
or with craps or casino software until you get a good understanding
of the rules, lingo, flow, and odds of the game.
Always take the full amount of odds you
are allowed (if you have the funds to support it) as "taking
odds" has the smallest house advantage.
To maximize odds:
- "Place to Win" the 6 or
8 instead of "Buying" a 6 or 8 or betting a "Big
6" or "Big 8"
- "Place to Win" a 5 or 9 instead
of "Buying" a 5 or 9
- "Place to Lose" a 5, 6, 8, or
9 instead of "Laying" a 5, 6, 8, or 9
- "Buy" the 4 or 10 instead of "Placing
to Win" the 4 or 10
- "Lay" the 4 or 10 instead of "Placing
to Lose" the 4 or 10
- Review the odds in the payout/house advantage table below
Avoid proposition bets which carry a very
high house advantage.

of each number in order to give you an idea of the odds of
the numbers being rolled compared to others:
